A truly enjoyable, funny and moving fictionalised story of International Mathematical Olympiad contestant Nathan Ellis (Asa Butterfield) learning independence through the shock of his first experiences away from home. Themes of bullying and adolescence provide plenty of depth. The story is based on Daniel Lightwing, one of the participants in director Morgan Matthews documentary “Beautiful Minds” (2007).
