Luke (Lou Taylor Pucci) is an autistic young man who is forced out of sheltered isolation by his grandfather's dementia and on a quest to “Get a job. Find a girl. Live your own life. Be a man!” Luke is portrayed convincingly, as is his relationship with the dysfunctional Zack, who helps concoct plans to locate and meet the mother who abandoned him.
